What we do

We run several projects dedicated to supporting the defenders of Ukraine. These initiatives are organized into three key areas—Defend, Survive, and Recover—each focused on providing essential resources that help protect, aid, and restore the well-being of those who serve.

Make selection:

Retreats for Widows and Children

We support Dreamers UA, a Ukrainian NGO that organizes healing camps for children of fallen defenders and restorative retreats for widows. Together, we help families who have sacrificed so much regain strength, resilience, and hope — both physically and emotionally.

Blood Bank

Ukraine’s blood services are fragmented, leaving many patients—from mothers to wounded soldiers—without timely transfusions. Even before the war, two-thirds of patients lacked needed blood. Thanks to Protect Ukraine, funding is now being provided to address this critical shortage.

Ambulances

Ambulances allow medics to treat and quickly evacuate wounded soldiers and civilians, drastically increasing survival chances in combat zones.

Support for Veterans Center

Training equipment for the rehabilitation of military veterans.

EMDR Equipment

We deliver EMDR therapy equipment to support effective treatment for PTSD and help reduce trauma-related symptoms.

Drone Training for Veterans

We provide drone training for veterans, helping them apply their skills in vital, modern military roles and continue contributing to Ukraine’s defense.

Evacuation Robots

Protect Ukraine, with Ukraine’s General Staff and a drone manufacturer, developed an armored ground robot to evacuate wounded soldiers under fire safely. Equipped with medical monitoring and communication tools, it addresses the dangers medics face from Russian attacks. The design is approved, a prototype is being tested, and serial production has started.

Trauma Packs

We supply trauma kits to Ukrainian forces with every convoy, including a tourniquet, chest seals, hemostatic gauze, and an emergency bandage — essential for treating severe bleeding and lung injuries. Due to shortages on the front line, each service member must carry such kits.

Combat Medic Training (TCCC)

The training capacity for the use of trauma kits (Combat Medic Training – TCCC) must be significantly expanded. Every soldier should complete this training before entering a combat zone, as it dramatically increases the chances of survival for the wounded.

Helmets & Vests

Many soldiers are still inadequately equipped with helmets and protective vests — for example, helmets compatible with communication headsets are often lacking.

Jammers

To reduce the effectiveness of drones, we must disrupt their radio and GPS signals. This can be achieved using jammers.

Anti-Drone Nets

Drones can also be captured by stretching fishing nets between trees or across roads — especially those undetectable drones that use fiber-optic cables. Traditional fishing nets are currently the only effective countermeasure. Instead of exploding, the drones become entangled and are safely caught in the netting.

Motorcycles

Motorcycles are essential for transportation, logistics, and mobility on the front line, especially in terrain where cars struggle to operate.

SUVs and Pickups

The military must secure its own SUVs and pickup trucks, which are essential for transportation, logistics, and mobility on the front line.

Mobile Shower Units

Research indicates that poor hygiene and lack of sleep are major contributors to depression and low morale among soldiers. Protect Ukraine is providing mobile shower and laundry units to improve soldiers’ hygiene, sleep, and morale, with several Ukrainian brigades and regiments set to receive them soon.
